Music marketing #1

 In class we were recently assigned with a big “music marketing” project. First we drew our type of music that we’ll be researching from a bin, which we got “hip-hop/funk”. Our first assignment was to research 5 different artists with 5 people in our group to learn a little more about our type of music. After this we were introduced to the project portion where we had to build a character that is just getting into the music industry by creating a music video for their first song(the song is one that has already been written by another famous artist). There were 2 big parts to this project, the PowerPoint and the music video. We decided to knock out the music video over this weekend by doing the story board as a group, then dividing the work by having 2 editors and 3 people filming. We plan on doing the power point about the artist over the week while giving us a comfortable time to make changes if needed.
